Liz Smith

With over 25 years of experience in business education, Liz Smith has built a robust career working across secondary, primary, and special schools since 1999. Her career highlights include serving as a bursar for a local authority and currently holding the position of School Business Manager (SBM) at Mossbrook School. Liz has accumulated 15 years of experience as an SBM and is passionate about finance, particularly in the area of budget management.

Liz has cultivated a strong network of SBM colleagues, and they meet regularly to share knowledge and best practices. Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, going on holidays, and practicing kickboxing.
